What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is a 24 hour long event where students work together to create a project from scratch. Get ready to learn a lot while having fun!
What if I don’t know how to code?
There will be workshops for all skill levels, and we encourage you to partake in these workshops to get a jumpstart before you start to develop your project.
What can my team build?
Anything realistic that you can imagine! Remember, there will be a theme and different categories for prizes. Projects will be judged on their Impact, Usability, Creativity, and Complexity.
What should I bring?
A valid school ID, signed waivers, a laptop, charger(s), and toiletries. Remember to bring your hardware as well.
Who can attend OmniHacks?
All high school students are welcome! No prior experience is necessary.
